Henriikka works on the history of late nineteenth-century German philosophy. In her dissertation, she is researching the concepts of historicism, naturalism, and Lebensphilosophie in the thought of Wilhelm Dilthey.

Besides that, her interests lie in the philosophy of the social sciences, the philosophy of history, and hermeneutics.

Ben writes a weekly newsletter related to complexity science, the food system, and Buddhism. He has spent the last five years working at the intersection of food and technology for restaurant chains, catering brands, and tech startups. Originally from London, he schooled in Philadelphia and is now living in Toronto.

Adrian is a philosophy professor in Cleveland, Ohio, and president of The Western Reserve Philosophical Society, a local group that engages the larger community in important conversations across philosophy and politics.

He is also an editor for the publication Liberal Currents.

Jeffrey is the Founder and Editor-in-chief of Erraticus. He also hosts and produces the philosophy-centric podcast Damn the Absolute!

He is a journalist and writer whose research interests center around bioregionalism, philosophical pragmatism, pluralism, and resilient communities. He lives in Southern Appalachia.

Daniel is Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Davidson College. He writes and teaches about political philosophy and the history of political ideas.

He is also the author of Locke Among the Radicals: Liberty and Property in the Nineteenth Century (2020) published by Oxford University Press.

Steve was educated at the universities of Sussex, Oxford, and Minnesota, earning a Ph.D. from the University of Stockholm. In addition to teaching four years at a study abroad program for the University of Stockholm, he has had a career in international marketing, working for many multi-national companies, eventually setting up his own agency.

He has devoted himself to the study of theories of consciousness, teaching the subject for several years at East London’s University of the Third Age and the North London Buddhist Centre.

Garrett is a public policy professional interested in the intersection of economics and human well-being.

He lives in Arlington, Virginia, and is an avid hockey fan and snowboarder.

Eleni is a philosophy Ph.D. student at the City University of New York, The Graduate Center. She has a BSc in history and philosophy of science from the University of Athens, Greece. She also studied philosophy and comparative literature at Harvard University.

Her research interests lay in the areas of metaphysics and theory of science, cognitive science, and nineteenth-century American philosophy, especially Henry David Thoreau and pragmatist philosophers (William James and C.S. Peirce). She has worked for the Thoreau Institute at Walden Woods in Lincoln, Massachusetts and for the Hellenic National Bioethics Commission in Athens, Greece.

She is the translator of Thoreau’s Letters to Harrison Blake into Greek.
